ESCUELA COLLINGWOOD SCHOOL PLAYGROUND PROJECT

The Playground Team engaged four potential playground vendors and invited them to present thier design proposals at the Playground Open House on March 7, 2013. After analyzing the quotes and proposals and reviewing surveys completed by parents, students, staff and community members, a proposal put forward by Blue Imp was selected, subject to adequate funds being raised. That proposal was recently modified, as above, to reflect further input from the community.

A SAFE, ACCESSIBLE PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN TO ENJOY
THE PROJECT: PLAYGROUND 2014
A playground is a fundamental building block in a child's education, personal development and growth. The current playground at Escuela Collingwood School is at the end of its lifecycle and is currently scheduled to be demoilished towards the end of 2014. The Collingwood School Playground Team is seeking the help of community members like you to ensure that a new, accessible playground can be built on the school grounds by June 2014.
Our vision is a safe, accessible playground for all elementary-aged children to enjoy, while bringing the "communities of Collingwood" together in a highly-valued space, where friendships will continue to grow and develop throughout the years.
